Toronto via YouTube

I figured I'd try and add some new life to this thread, starting with a skyline video, with footage from this afternoon.

This will be the first among many additions to come.

A friend of mine recently played a roll in a Tim Hotorn's commercial. It features Minto at King and Tecumseh. He is the crane operator there.
I know it's a commercial, but it is Toronto and it is on Youtube.

A lot of TV commercials are now shot in Toronto and shown across the country. I find that it has made commercials more interesting to watch, to see if I can tell where they were shot. The Distillery District is quite common, but there are surprises: the contemporary rowhouses along the narrow and obscure Gilead Place appear in not one, but two different commercials.

Imagine that, people actually do swim in Lake Ontario.

I didn't know where to post this video, it's not from youtube but from Discovery World.
The show is called Strip The City and is very informative about the engineering behind the city. The part 5 video is very interesting about a project to expand the hydro capacity of the Niagara Falls, something i wasn't even aware of.
