The moat has leaks. I guess for this purpose they figure it wasn't a concern, but the target state would have some retail in the old parking spots on the north side of the west moat and without the work to patch the leaks which is to be combined with the work to install bollards to have a single construction package, the moat is not reaching its potential.

I will say at first I was sort of frustrated about the moat being closed for longer, but I went to the opening of the roller skate rink tonight, and it completely changed my mind. What a treat and a creative use of public space!

The fact that everything is free is a huge sell. The city could use many more properly free fun activities.

I did a count once and I think 11 stores in union offer coffee

Where are these comfort spots? I was thinking it was the TD lounge but it’s named “spot 3”, they can’t possibly be those ugly plastic seats can it?

Me too, but I find all LED Christmas lights ugly. Hopefully they have something like Tru-Tone LEDs available in Canada in the near future.
