Does anyone know the story on why they ended up ripping out the newly completed fixtures in 2018 and replaced it with a new interior?

Huge yikes, that’s a downgrade. I am not sure how the “unfinished ceiling“ look will age. 15 years from now we might be saying it looks super dated.

The good thing with unfinished ceilings is that it’s already halfway demolished for the NEXT round of renovations.

Seriously though a lot of projects are going to start bumping up against each others start and end dates. For example the south concourse, then there will be electrification, then if the TTC ever gets around to the Union LRT station renovation, and who knows by the time all that's done it might be time to expand capacity again and build the proposed rail tunnel beneath the station...

It's really nice to see this brand expanding in the GTA, it's the best and most famous açaí chain in Brazil and they already have hundreds of locations around the world.

Harveys just closed one of their two places in the path, so I'd be surprised. Popeyes or A&W seem much more likely...
