Is it anticipated that the Mount Dennis UP Station opening day will be the same as the Crosstown opening day?
Haven't seen anything official from Metrolinx. However, the GO part of the station could have been finished and brought into service a while ago and it has not, so I think it's reasonable to assume that it's opening will coincide with Line 5's opening.

That's pretty much the plan.

The bloody platform screens are turned on, for crying out loud...

This month marks the sixth anniversary of the delivery of the first Crosstown vehicles. Pretty soon the MSF will be renamed "Rockwood East Division" lol

There isn't much point in opening the rail stop until buses start using the new bus loop, and there isn't much point in opening the bus loop until the routes are changed, although perhaps the 32 could make a stop at the loop to service the GO/UP station if it could be opened.

I haven't taken a close look to see if that whole area is still fenced off as a construction site....but the commercial agreements probably don't transfer ownership until the LRT is opened.....and opening sooner than LRT would be political salt in the wound by drawing attention to the LRT non-opening.

Why expend money and power on escalators, lights, platform screens, emergency systems, etc. etc. etc. when the line has no [publicly available] opening date?

The consortium needs to show that it is ready to operate in order for them to be able to hand it over to the operator. That's why it has to be treated as if you are all systems go
