Nope they are old - but still rather nice of course. The curved glass Marina City lookalike was the hypothetical casino portion.

What I *really* would like to see are the plans for the proposal - just to know how the MTCC will be revamped and the details around the rail corridor deck/public space.

The casino and hotel buildings are incredible. I really hope those will be built in some form. I could do without the twin towers on the convention centre site; although beautiful, they're pretty hackneyed and way too close to the CN Tower.

Looks tacky to me. But I guess tacky suits a casino.

There are some beautiful (new ?) renderings of the Oxford project on skyscrapercity that I don't remember seeing. Thanks to those members on the other site for posting them. Truly monumental scale!

If you are wondering if what you are seeing is new or old, you can always check the dataBase file linked at the top of every page. All of those images are in there.

It's just a poster. He should be flattered that someone cared enough to rehash it. People steal images of my art all the time. You can't let it get to you, you just have to take it as a form of flattery.

And I absolutely agree... until such time as the "borrower" makes a ton of money with art which directly depends on your own involuntary contribution to make it fly. Then, it's a whole different perspective.

At any rate, without the casino component, I think it just got indefinitely delayed.

Sure people steal images all the time, but if it is for commercial purposes, then the copyright holder should go after compensation. Sure it's flattery, but it's cheap, insincere, and it's still stealing.

Robin Hood stole proceeds from the rich all the time and gave them to the poor. Was Errol Flynn ever prosecuted for this?
