architectsAlliance designed it, as they did the permanent buildings on the site.

(It has become the Playground sales centre as it s by the same developer, Cityzen.)

I wonder how quickly that billboard will be coming down? Quite gross next to those living spaces.

I know it was addressed here, but that parking lot! my gosh. Temporary cat litter or a mulch could be spread out and that would be a world better than that thing.

The parking lot will go away as will the billboard. Give it time

I like the builder, but this one is fugly.... I much prefer the other buildings on that site... they are gorgeous...
That being said. Being a quality building from a quality builder means you have some options for great suites and amazing water views... that makes up for its sea urchin'sh points...

Architects never learned how to shuffle a deck of cards... but I still give this a pass...good place for a bit of height and some waterfront wonkiness.

Thank God for the Toronto Star building. It adds colour, texture, and solidity in a sea of glass. Re-work the first 2 floors to better engage the street but don't touch the rest.

This is quite a cool tower that a bunch of residents are going to get amazing balconies from. I wouldn't mind seeing more variations of this typology on the waterfront, or anywhere really.

This is a horrible Tower that should have never been allowed on the waterfront

and there's nothing along this side of the waterfront that's better. Let that marinate for a moment. I think the building just seems like an after thought that they tried to squeeze in while the other phases look like they took more planning, more thought.
