Will there be a pool?

The clips that hold the bands on are vertical, and the bands are always on an angle, so I'm not so certain there's anything very appealing for a pigeon to roost upon. If they were able to fit in behind a band, they'd find they were permanently on display to whoever lived behind the glass, and I'm not sure that would appeal to them either.

I was referring to the podium glass. Those nooks that are created by the angled glass. Maybe they'll put anti-pigeon spikes there.

I know, it's a farce. They might as well be replaced by reflective pools or some other water feature. Why would developers waste money on these dinky pools which are hardly useable? People can just hang out without a pool being present.

Theatre Park has certainly picked up as a photography subject! These windows for Morimoto are looking just amazing. Photos from the 6th, 8th, and 9th:

There will be six trees going into the plaza here:

That podium glass is incredible. On a side note: The Royal Alex should invest in better signage (neon). Those backlit signs ar no better than what you'd find over a convenience store. They cheapen a beautiful building and are an embarrassment to be attached to such a prestigious theatre.

Does anybody know how the interior is progressing? It would be a shame to miss out on TIFF next month. The exterior looks like it can be finished in time.

It looks like they've avoided any "ledges" in the podium glass
- all the "tops" of the angles meet another pane of glass evenly or inset
