I still ask "Why did they not use coloured concrete in the first place?" Despite the ghastly coloured concrete on https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threa...0-32m-13s-dream-cobe-architects.29829/page-39 one can get pretty decent colouring with concrete.

Turning into a decent looking corner. Goes to show one doesn't; need to break the bank to produce something inviting. Variety, colour, texture go a long way as do the trees and heritage lamp posts.

You may be right, now the institutional grey concrete cladding and windows are going in, the salmon parts do distract the eye. :->
