I wonder how well that mud and clay would work as an exfoliating mask or as an all encompassing body treatment. I am tempted to go down there and roll around in it, naked. Only one way to find out.

Today's (Wednesday, April 18) update. Three different looks at the project.

1. Two crane photos - the first one this morning, as the boom was about to be hoisted into place, and then later this evening, the crane is complete, including stringing of the cables, and the boom has been raised to its operational position.

2. Two photos of the retaining wall and excavation activities along the Wellington street frontage. Of note, the two long grey trucks with the white cabs in the background (the cab for the truck on the left is just barely visible under the boom of one of the excavators). These two trucks are shuttling the worst of the contaminated earth to Quebec for incineration.

3. This evening, Front Street is being reconfigured along The Well site - Jersey barriers are being installed to create a new pedestrian 'sidewalk' where the curb lane has been, and the current sidewalk area is going to be enclosed by fencing to create a delivery and staging area. Temporary pylons were being deployed to move the traffic lanes towards the south side of the street to create a safe working area for installation of the Jersey barriers.

@RonThom If you are going to post things that are 'not opinions' you probably need to give us some reason/evidence for believing you or explain what your 'not an opinion' is based on. Those of is who have been here for a while have seen far too many examples of (apparently) knowledgeable posts that are presented as 'not opinions' that turn out to be wishful thinking, based on misconceptions or simply pulled out of thin air.

Allied and RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, the joint owners of the commercial portion of The Well are hoping to secure two tenants in tech, advertising, media or information by the third quarter of this year to represent just under 50 percent of the office space, which could cost as much as C$750 million to build. Negotiations with several tenants are ongoing, Emory said, declining to identify any. “It is progressing well and that’s the top priority, without question -- this is what we have to deliver this year,” he said.
