I mean, we could build it sooner if we actually made an effort to generate some revenue in this city but lol no. Still, nothing wrong with making the place better for future generations.
Or the city could go in with the developer and see what can be arranged in getting some parkland over the tracks along with some development on the site. The park would be smaller, but come at a much lower cost than what the city has proposed - and has low-balled in terms of cost.

Yeah rather than wait 20 years, that's a no brainer that any world class city would do at the moment to please the 30.000 people living in the vicinity

I think twenty years may be optimistic. Regardless, the city and the developer are having it out at the LPAT right now. If the city prevails I don't expect to see anything happening any time soon.

Yeah unfortunately this very expensive 3 billion dollar Rail Deck Park boils down to Joe Cressy and John Tory,s legacy in council
