Here is a time lapse video of Building B's damaged crane being removed early Monday morning. Be patient with it. It is an interesting co-ordination of 3 different mobile cranes (one in the hole, two at grade) and logistically impressive. I added music to match but for some reason, it is not currently playing it.

There was nearly 3 days of prep for Del Terra and their crane subs to set up for the few hours I show here, which is the meat of the removal. At the very beginning, you see a crane bucket over the workers to the top of the crane (their headlights flash in the direction of the camera occasionally) to help with the dismantling.

Kudos to the Well construction team. They scrambled when the crane broke on Friday morning and managed to get it all done over a frigid weekend to minimize the disruption to construction progress on the site.

I wonder how will be transported on the ground.. as a oversize load..or be done in a few pieces.. and assembly on location?

We can barely see the excavator arms poking out of the megatank well anymore. Soon enough we will have to ask @Jasonzed and @skycandy for flyovers to see how the excavation is progressing down there.

14 days is a lot to ask for considering what is left and the diminishing progress the closer to completion. Looks to me more like at least 21-28 days.

The amount of steel, concrete, glass etc. that will pour into this site over the next 4-5 years is staggering. It would be interesting to do the math of roughly how many jobs this site supports directly and indirectly.

What a huge site and awesome project. This is great for this area and people will love living and working here I think. Great pics, too.
