It's great to see Bloor St. have a continuous 'presence' all the way to Sherbourne St. rather than seemingly fade away as it used to.


I agree, but it needs a bit more on the north side now, and maybe some more retail and restaurants to give it some more vibrancy.

The north side of Bloor east of Yonge is a dead zone, and unlikely to change for decades until the buildings are redeveloped. There's the HBC bunker, a few restaurants in the office buildings east of it (mostly breakfast and lunch places), the Manulife lawn (closed since the start of the pandemic), some fast-food joints in the colonnaded arcade of the condo/office complex, a heritage TD branch, then you hit the Rosedale ravine.
