It's only a guess but It looks like it might be an awning window. Can't see from @Benito's photos, maybe he can take a closer look when he has an opportunity.

I thought all the windows where fixed...so that comes off as a surprise here. Not that's a bad thing.

I can't see them having fixed windows as you would need to be able to open them at some point for ventilation I'm not a condo owner so somebody could tell me that they don't have opening windows in their entire unit and I would believe them I would tell them I'm sorry for them but yeah a day like today I have every window in my house opened I would lose my mind if I couldn't just open windows to get fresh air

I get that, but I had presumed...perhaps poorly, that this would a bank tower type of deal where air flow and such would be taken care of internally and mechanically.

If you look carefully at the bottom one, you will see that there are holes/scuffs on the edge. I would think that these are defective/broken units and not a new feature.

Such an odd choice to go with windows like that and not balconies. I understand you'll get more square footage. But I would think buyers would also want some outdoor space.

Also, doesn't planning usually push for a minimum of private outdoor space per unit?
