Based on the photos, that's what it looks like. Admittedly, I haven't been by in person to see if work is actually being done.

No, but there hasn't been any apparent progress in weeks.

Unless you go by the site everyday, why would you make such a statement. The work hasn't stopped since the first day the equipment arrived on site. They are still in the shoring phase. Structural steel columns have been installed at either end of the yellow beam that will support the existing building. Most of the site already has a caisson wall and all that is left is mainly on the Yonge street side.

I pass through this site every day and I see work happening every time.

From the work being done, once they have that heritage building all contained and supported digging should start and I'm sure that will put everyone's minds to rest. They don't just start building the tallest skyscraper in Canada on a whim...they gotta prep.
