Knowing San Francisco that would never had happened here. NIMBYism is x100 here

NIMBYism isn't "x100" here versus San Francisco. SF could teach us a thing or two about NIMBYism (not that I want it to), where it is practiced masterfully.

Do you mean conservatism, though? I would agree with that - Toronto's developers, municipal officials and politicians, and other stakeholders tend to defer to conservative outcomes. Often very little room (or patience) here for folly ... or colour.

Very promising. Wonder if that height is set in stone or if they wouldn't consider pushing it past FCP. It does look like a squatter version of The One.

Would like to see more colour too - not necessarily the bold red framework that was suggested earlier in the thread, but perhaps something a tad darker/lower key.

The design is beautiful. Why wouldn't Oxford push this past 300M and make a bit of a splash on the skyline? Wouldn't the additional height make the building more appealing?

I think it needs a better (taller) crown.
The proportions look timid up there.
Even The One has a taller crown.

They should also add balconies between the upright supports on each side.
That would be easy to do.
