I don't think this turned out as interesting or diverse as everyone was hoping.
Its not the best one out there nor the worse, but a big step forward.

Having different style of building is a lot better than having the same style or block look.

I think you will see a different look after the landscaping and park work is done, but its a hell lot better than what was there before. Now to get rid of 1 Peel with that 3 year steel structure that still not finish and the exterior falling apart now.

Its is also nice to see one builder doing this site than a number of different ones.

A little more though could gone into this site, but doing a piecemeal buying process didn't help, as well not wanting to sell.

While riding the bus, not as striking as I invisioned it, but when the front and back parks are complete it'll transfer the area, hopefully those old white buildings across the street are next

I think this development looks great from Queen and Dufferin, with the varied cladding on the 'Mews' building at the north end looking particularly good:

It's official: Metro will be opening here at some point soon. The sign was posted not too long ago but I kept forgetting to take a photo.

It looks like they are doing some interior work since you can see a mini-excavator inside.

Metro is finally open. Looks like today is opening day, free bike rides home with your groceries, guys from HQ wandering the store, overly eager and friendly guy greeting you, welcome brochures, huge amounts of staff, etc.

Metro open yesterday and has only the top level. Anyone with any company and suppliers were all over the place today. Some free food and give away was taking place as well.

Starbucks has a shop on the lower level along with the Wine store. There is another store to be had and empty at this time. The lower level leads to the parking level.

Will post some photos later.
