Agree. Hopefully 20-30 years down the road, MLS' towers will get re-clad with something attractive.
Thankfully this will cover most of Maple Leaf Square from the lake.

The City has just announced:
• The westbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard between Bay Street and York Street will be closed to traffic from Saturday, August 16 at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 17 at 11:59 p.m. for the construction of a pedestrian bridge over Lake Shore Boulevard.
I'm trying to figure out what happens in the north end. The existing second-story walkway from Air Canada Centre (and Maple Leaf Square) comes to a stop, and then there's some doors, and a smallish stairway to the bottom and Union Station. This seems sufficient for the current demand (from ACC offices and the occasional person who walks from the Maple Leaf Square) (most simply walk outside).I'm trying to figure out where the pedestrian bridge ends up on the south side. Is it going to be integrated into the development? Is there a temporary exit that people can use now?
Actually walked through today. No sign of an elevator anywhere. Now that could be a problem! Presumably there's something with the ACC area - but that's not publicly accessible for those coming from south of the Gardiner. Is that relatively modest stairwell in ACC being replaced with something? I assume there's an elevator somewhere that I haven't noticed?
