M City is not generic, no - but it is kind of wonky. It uses a hodgepodge of contemporary "out there" tropes in terms of building shapes and hopes that the very variety itself will suffice.

Would be nice, sure - but if anything, they'll stay true to the building shapes in the renders and possibly value engineer down the cladding and other finishing details.

I totally understand why you're so negative and untrusting, considering some past projects from this developer. But I'd imagine these towers will be more comparable to their twin towers to the West, which in my opinion, are the nicest of South Core (maybe outside of 10 York), and will likely be nice additions. Ground breaking? No. But welcoming? Most likely.

I do cross my fingers every time regardless of height, location, or developer. I don't pray.
