One of the guys on the left side of the photo buys second hand purses at the Sunday St. Lawrence Market and sells them in a second floor vintage place at Queen and Bathurst ... that's how exclusive this "fashion show" is.

I heard it was pretty exclusive. In fact, the white dress in that photo contains microscopic pieces of bone that were dug up from the graves of Milan fashion designers from over 200 years ago.

some Trump porn from yesterday...

awesome update (just like the four seasons one), plenty of angles to go around!!!!
trump is going to end up really looking over yonge-street (until BA2 goes up), aside from the lower half of the east wall, trump will be a looker.

absolutely... and its not just this angle where they were able to screw it up. Now, I dont mind the darker stripe running up the corner, if only it was consistent. The mismatched floor heights absolutely kills the rhythm that you would ideally want to see. Just so many rules of good architecture have been broken here... clearly its a trade off to get the functionality they wanted on the inside of the building but ya, it just ends up looking so amateur.

There was a fashion show inside Trump Toronto...

Great photos! What a great idea hosting a fashion show inside Trump Toronto - that ballroom is going to be fantastic.

2 Buildings in One! - Function over Appearance. -

That double height mechanical floor is screwy and the messed up glass in the corner.

I think the mismatched glass panels really draw attention to the random floor heights in that area too. I'm assuming they'll be fixed though...

They really ought to be. They're all I see when I look at it from this angle, and it sounds like many others experience the same thing.
