Here is some work taking place in the Hudson's Bay Store.

The ceiling are being replace from tile to drywall and raise a foot or more. This this will apply to all 3 floor. More lighting, upgrade floor tile as well wood floor. Total upgrade to high end style

I have replace the broken links and no idea what Flickr is doing these days for my photos. Not sure if these are the ones. The normal search does not find them even with Google for some reason, but I can find then another way.

I have no idea what Flickr is up to these days as they are screwing things up badly to the point I can't find photos, rename albums or even move them. Then the links become broken for some reason.

The whole south west side is close off to parking or gaining access to the mall. Princess Royal and the north south road is now close, including the parking lot by the old theater. This has to do with the building of the new main north-south road to City Centre Dr that is dead centre of 201 building on the south side. This road should be completed by the end of Sept with work taking place to shift Princess Royal down to the new east-west road that will connect to Hudson's Bay parking structure. They are in the process of laying the base material for the new road by Hudson's Bay and could be ready for paving by the weekend. Next week could see the reopening of the south road to the parking structure as well the reopening of the west Hudson's Bay entrance. Only a small section of sidewalk to be pour that will connect to the new east mall entrance as well. That entrance will not open until summer of 2016.

The bricking is almost done on the west side and waiting the tile material like the tile material on the south side that is finish.

The opening in the westside court yard floor is mostly frame in now and waiting concrete. This will leave an opening about 20% of the original one for the new escalators and the old elevator.

The French Connection is closing its doors on Aug 29 and will join a long line of empty stores that have close this summer. Need a score card to see who has left the mall, coming into the mall or moving else where on a weekly time frame.

That black precast in the new addition reminds me of Fairview Mall for some reason.

Maybe because suburban malls all look the same.

That is 100% brick and there is no precast material on site at this time. Tiling is to go where the blue is now.

The tower cranes are gone and no idea when they came down

90% of the new road system is in place with top coat to be added. Push is on to try to get parts of the new roads open for Thanksgiving.

Light post are going up and the new lighting poles for the parking lots are on site.

Concrete has been pour for the new floor opening where the old one was. Ceiling framing going up in the west court area.

The west entrance for Hudson's has reopen. Most of the marble tiles for the windows have been installed.

I am not sure. The red is a wide road for 3 lanes of traffic with 2 lanes going south to the right

Yellow is setup to go to Burnhamthrope at some future date, while the red is only to City Centre Dr.

The road in front of the expansion is the same width as the red and Princess Royal.

I don't if the current traffic light will be relocated to the red road. The existing lights will either be move or be removed 100% since there next to no traffic there now. I see no provisions for light at the red road at this time.

The south parking lot is close again and should open within the next few weeks once the final top of asphalt is lay for it as well the new north section and the new west lot.

I am assuming Princess Royal will be the new road in front of the extension will be final pave also, but not sure if it will be open at the same time as the parking lots. The new north south is ready for final paving as well the insulation of the new traffic lights for it at City Centre. Its hard to say if the new underground parking lot will open this year or until the rest of the new extension open up in 2016.

Not much left for the exterior and should be done by the end of November.

The West Side Court yard has the new skylight windows in place and adds a lot more light to the area, but not finish yet. The new ceiling is going up as well. Hand railing going in around the smaller floor opening as well the insulation of the escalator to the lower level.

Urban Outfitters is about a week or so from opening and the exterior of the store look nice. Muji will be opening Nov 7.

The sunlight was against me, but got to take what you can when shooting. Lot more up on site.
