April Construction Update

The common areas at SQ are now complete. Drywall installations are taking place within the hoist suites, kitchen installations are on the 12th & 13th floors, and flooring installations are in progress on the 11th floor. Suite tiles are being installed on the 14th floor along with lighting fixture installations.

The first closings for the community took place on April 18, and Customer Care team members are conducting Homeowner Orientations on the 4th floor.

Would it be greedy to say I wish it had more prominent splashes of colour? The colour is one of my favourite things about Picasso. I think there is some yellow in the balcony wells, but it kind of disappears.

Nope I totally agree with you. And I think other buildings (Monde, Axiom, 10 York) could do with more splashes of highlighting colours.

Walked around the area with an out-of-towner the other day, and explained that much of it is public housing, which was met with pure shock from the visitor -- 'wow, Toronto builds this stuff as public housing; that's pretty incredible.'
