They were off loading galvanize beams today, which I thought was odd at first for the final section of retail, considering that steel was painted. Theses beams must be for the fencing.
The floodplain is meant to become public parkland with new pedestrian and bicycle path links south to the lake and north along Mimico Creek. Much of it already looks quite lush in the summer, and it won't take too much cleaning up to make any remaining areas that look like "wasteland" to you to look just fine. This area is going to be "huge" when finished.
