Not soon hopefully, they give so much to that stretch. Condos are so bad at fine grain retail. There's nothing enticing about a blank facade of glass.

The success of QueenWest as one of north america's more interesting streets is largely attributed to those eclectic lowrise buildings. Without them we'll have something more akin to dull north Bay street.

Queen Street West HCD kicks in right there. Not much to fear since you wouldn't get the density to justify assembling them.

Interesting that some of the balcony cladding has gone up before the actual window wall.
It does make the building look far more articulated than it will be once it's finished.

This building could turn out to be one of the not run of the mill for cookie cutter building and adding life to the street.
Real odd that the railing is going up first before the windows.

Ya it's alright still wishing they had gone with the original pattern of the balconies but it's still a nice splash or hint of Color

I also much prefer the original pattern of the coloured glass. It was a lot more interesting.
