No, this was taken late yesterday - the airshow was over by then. I don't know if the planes flew over Oakville. If they were just over Toronto, I think they'd be hard to see from Oakville.

It doesn't appear there was any thought to making Toronto a beautiful place back then. I was going to university at the time of this photo and remember thinking what the heck is going on here - building the tallest thingme right in the middle of nowhere. Toronto also rises !

Not exactly a skyline shot, but I thought the light play on the setbacks of the former TD Canada Trust (Brookfield Place) tower before sunset today looked interesting ...
