What is it with modern architects and their use of as little colour as possible?

The overall absolute worst building in the Regent Park redevelopment is still Bloc 27 IMO. But (d)EVOLV is probably the most selectively thoughtless. I find that the north and west sides are actually well done. Especially with how the west embraces the park. But the south, east, and majority of the podium is a huge negative towards urban aesthetics. And it literally turns its back to River Street and everything to the east.
