Some trees were just delivered to the site, looks to be going into the new holes along Queen St. Sorry, no pics.

There are places for 7 trees (to replace the 3 which were chopped down, one of which had died already), but with the insane overhead wires along that stretch, any tree is bound to be in trouble in the long term.

Things just wrapping up here. A tea cafe (Teaopia) is open on Queen Street, and the BMO branch is opening in a couple of weeks. Residential tenants are starting to move in next week. Loblaws should be open in 1-2 months.

The BMO is open with 7 days of service as well a cafe. On the 15th, The Winners opens and you never win there.

The most attractive elevation on this thing is the blank wall facing west.

The dull brick colours really don't work on a street as colourful as Queen, but I don't think any of us were expecting a quality building from Riocan.

As someone in another thread described a certain building as "an architectural teratoma" it is equally suiting here. I love that description. lol
