And parking to go to the game, or the Islands was so so easy back then.
2002.And we were there for it. UT's first incarnation on EZboard was created in October 2004? Am I remembering that correctly, @Edward Skira / @interchange42? I first joined in September 2005, IIRC.
I walked by the site yesterday and they appeared to be removing the foundations of the former parking garage but nothing more and part of the site appears to already have been backfilled up to street level. HOWEVER, they now have aConditional Shoring Permit so I guess they are preparing to shore! (The Building permit itself is still "Under Review"
Will the new building be set back a bit more from Harbour Street? There is a rather odd bend in the street between York and Simcoe
You have asked this question in several (unrelated) threads and on the Elektra thread itself (several times). SEE: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threa...-giannone-petricone.30873/page-8#post-2270730Hey fellas,
I know this is not related to Q Tower, but this seems very active, does anyone know what is going on with the Elektra project by Menkes? They launched in 2022 and 2025 is finishing up and no sign of any construction let alone demolition of the existing building.

Stay on topic. Read the thread subject and previous postings carefully before replying to a topic. There is some room to move around in a thread but keep it to a minimum. We want to have a forum that provides knowledge to its members rather than a soapbox for people who just want to add to their post counts. We will warn you if we think you’re posting too often about nothing. Don’t take it personally. We just want the content to stay strong.
