They absolutely could not. Cheaper? Sure, of course! More expensive / higher quality? Not a hope in hell.

Sigh, not that I expected any different..............but sometimes faint hope is all one has....... LOL
 
New documents were uploaded to the AIC on March 27th, 2023.

While there weren't any notable design changes (that I saw), I do want to bring a few of the detail elevations forward... this one is shaping up to be an absolute spandrel buffet, particularly on the north and south elevations of the tower:

Spandrel buffet? Ugh, that's easily my least favourite type of buffet, way down the list after Masonry, Curtain wall, Indian, and Chinese.

Glad to soon have this parking structure demolished and it should led to less traffic in the area as well.
