Source ESPN (as of Feb 1)

Maple Leafs: 19,435 (103.4% capacity) - Ranked 4th
Blue Jays: 28,422 (56.3% capacity) - Ranked 18th
Raptors: 17,509 (88.4% capacity) - Ranked 15th

I think the Jays attendance will be up this coming season.

Rock : 16,882 (~90% Capacity -2nd)
Argonauts : 29,677 (66% Capacity -4th)
Marlies: 3,650 (38% Capacity -24th)
Tigercats: 26,730 (89% Capacity -6th)
Bulldogs: 4,287 (16th)

I'm a little surprised the Jays are averaging 28,000+/game. I would have thought it to be around 25,000 or so.

All the games against the Red Sox and Yankees help. If the Jays were in the central I doubt they'd be getting 28k

Why do you think the Bulldogs are doing so poorly in attendance? I went to a few games when I lived in Hamilton.

Bulldogs aren't doing too bad. Middle of the league where as the Marlies are 3rd from the bottom. Part of the reason is that AHL is 2nd tier. Generally Hamiltonians want NHL and only NHL like Toronto. The Bulldogs don't draw well, the Canucks didn't draw well and the OHL team didn't draw at all.

I do go to occasional Bulldog game, and went to several games in their Calder Cup run a few years back when they were selling out Copps. I was one of the record setting crowd at the Game 7 in the finals, quite the experience.

It will be interesting seeing where "Toronto FC" fits into that list. They have sold 10,000+ season tickets (max. 20,000) - I wonder how many single event tickets they will sell. I hope they do well.

Toronto FC--the soccer team. (Which should be clear from reading earlier in the thread; though I can understand how it can be unclear, acronyms have a way of doing that...)

You're forgiven. Even I (and a lot of us) have been tripped up like that...

What's bringing the Leafs to 103.4% capacity? Crowded box suites or something? Calgary's at 112,4%, too.

It's amazing that at 103.4% capacity on average the Leafs are still not first in terms of capacity.

TFC makes me think of fried chicken before I think of Toronto FC. I think the short form should be "the FC". I have never really heard people use acronyms like TML, TBJ, TFC. Usually its "the Leafs" or "the Jays".
