The mechanical penthouse is concrete and rebar/steel... you're looking at the outside "crown" perimeter which is steel and glass (which apparently is accessible from penthouse units).

How visible will the concrete be once this gets taller neighbours to the west, north, and east?

You're right. Eventually, the whole tower including mech penthouse will largely disappear (except from the south where the crown glass works). SkyTower and Phase 3 will box it in from the west and north and Sugar Wharf 2 will block it from the east.

... just impatient lol.

It'll be very visible from those neighbouring towers.
They'd have needed a full dome to hide the concrete from those neighboring towers that are 20+ storeys taller. You buy a unit in a tall tower, you're going to see lots of mechanical when you look down.

Does anyone has an idea of who's the ventilation sub? Or who is usually in charge of ventilation for high-rise condo towers?
