Looks really nice in person. Seen it the other day. It was a brilliant blue aqua color. It was quite beautiful actually.
Is it actually the world's longest enclosed pedestrian bridge?

I personally would be quite surprised by that - it doesn't strike me as incredibly long, but it may be possible, especially if you count it from the office building on the north side to the parking garage at the GO station. It's about 350m long. There are quite a few large pedestrian bridge out there though, I know Dubai has a ton.

I don't know if it counts, but I've been to the port of Tallinn, and the enclosed bridge there is around 500m.
I'm sure there are longer bridges at cruise ship terminals around the world.

Unsure what work exactly is happening here... But warranting enough to close sections off. As I can tell from previous posts here, the stairwells are over 13 years old (already?); but I didn't think they were particularily in bad shape. From the GO transit site:

For a few years now the lights have been malfunctioning. Now it looks like sections of the lights are completely out.

The stairwell lights or do you speak of the bridge lights?
I've noticed it generally the bridge now stays the same colour, but thought it was just by choice... I wonder if this warrants a note to ML...

Oh the decorative bridge lighting. A few lights have been out and others just stuck on the same colour for a while. Yesterday it looked like whole sections were out.
