Lots of activity on site today bringing down the crane from the East (taller) tower. A construction worker confirmed they are relocating the crane to a different spot:
Meanwhile, new cladding has been put up along the western facade. Hard to see, but the window wall is just some sort of metal foil. Looks like exposed insulation. Seems like they'll have to put up additional panels to finish this. I don't recall ever seeing this type of window wall construction before. Can anyone point to examples of such construction in other projects?
You could very well be right that, oddly enough, there might be something to be applied over that, but are we sure those aren't protective plastic skins that just haven't been pulled off yet?
Those are the steel galvanized back pans exposed. There will be either spandrels or metal panels to come. Window supplier must’ve shipped because of material delays
