I wonder when we'll see the next update from Metrolinx and the Conservatives? This fall? Next year?

This project still feels rather nebulous, and I hope we'll see something more substantial to nail down the specifics.
I think you're putting it diplomatically. Allow me: It doesn't exist save for one of a number of concepts on a table at ML HQ.

From my understanding City staff will report back to Council in June and there might be some further updates on their most recent discussions with staff. This is based on an information conversation with a City staff member, who also made it clear that there is still a lot unknown. An above-ground crossing of the Don will be complex.

Given one of the proposed terminus points of the Ontario Line is supposedly Ontario Place, the government providing more of an indication of what it plans to do with the site might be relevant to this thread. If they proposed additional density that could impact the ridership or the design of the terminus station at Ontario Place/CNE. Of course it's hard to say until the announcement happened so was just posting as a heads up.

The announcement says it's about Ontario Place. How could it be about density increase - the terms of reference that were already released for proposals eliminated residential as an option.

They could reverse direction on that, but it wouldn't be at a photo op for these particular ministers.

It's clear from what was already released, that it is not going to Ontario Place - even that graphic shows the "Ontario Place" station is shared with the Lakeshore West line ...I think we can assume that they are not moving the Lakeshore West line to Ontario Place!

It provides the "Union Station West" relief to Union Station that Metrolinx was looking for a few years ago, though a stop at Exhibition GO would only be able to serve the Lakeshore Line, while missing the Barrie, Kitchener, and Milton Lines. I guess it's possible that a King/Bathurst Station could provide this depending on the details of that station, but it is not yet shown as a connection.

Even if the OL station is going to be at the Exhibition GO Station on the LSW (and I do agree with your view on the location), isn't a pending announcement which could be about an adjacent use to the terminus station relevant? Why wouldn't the Ford gov want to move in a direction of making changes to Ontario Place to bolster their case of the OL reaching Exhibition Station?

Are they not planning for a station for the Barrie line at Spadina and Front, why not put the King/Bathurst station there so it could interchange with that station. I'm not sure how feasible that is. It would make sense since both these stations would be close to each other.

As expected, nothing new in Ontario Line news.
Very little in terms of Ontario Place news really, other than than nixing the Casino (was that an election promise? - I can't keep track).

Though the text above refers to a Figure 5 - but I don't know what the source document is - Allandale do you have the URL?
