Forgive me but I think you're confused... "shingles" are blisters or rashes but they don't look like actual shingles (like the white ones on One Delisle's crown).

The difference to me is that it doesn't taper or have the hint of tapering at the top anymore.
Agreed, not a huge difference, but to me it's like the tip of an asparagus
- The old version was relatively complete, while the new version has had the tip snapped off.

Isn't that literally what happened? They had to drop the height by a few floors.

Agree....not my idea of a great design but everyone has their own opinion...makes life interesting.

Now that AquaLuna is underway (along with those wonderful previews of materials), my most anticipated construction starts:

1. One Delisle (of course)
2. 372 Yonge (I can flippin' dream can't I?)
3. One Yonge Phase 3
4. .... and Mirvish + Gehry (sound-effect for haters
