Makes me wonder why they brought the second small crane up or is it that they had issues with the one attached to the ACS and needed to replace it

The small crane is facilitator machine to lift up and move around the construction materials at pouring area without need the bigger one.

I am certainly no activist, but, all that salt is going to end up in one place...and that is not good.

OT: I think the city has been proactive with regards to salt use; environmental impact aside, all that salt does a number on infrastructure (you can often see salt-stains in underground leakages, say at subway stations).

What I find truly abhorrent is when absolutely zero care was given when salt is applied - just dumping excessive amounts on sidewalks.

The last number on the elevator door is 68, then 3 more floors of yellow doors is 71.

Jan 21 All the walls looked formed. One new elevator door would be level 72 just under the crane brace.

Sand clogs sewers unless it is swept up in the spring -- which costs a lot extra.

Because of lawsuits. The small town council I once sat on was sued dozens of times per year for "slip and fall" accidents. Cost us hundreds of thousands every year.
