I am actually looking forward to these two segments of the curved glass. They are the two largest pieces and will be a sight to behold... Each of them at over 15 feet in height and slanting downwards towards the street.

Chances are they will be 2 rows of panel rather than 1 full 15-18ft glass.
So we will be looking at least 4 pieces of glass there

I didn't think it was one piece as per the renders... The curved sections all have breaks with spandrel top and bottom... however, they will still be massive pieces of glass and metal.

Hmmm. Lava cooling? That’s not a very good omen for this project. Somehow implies destruction and disaster. I would prefer to think of gentle waves lapping against a sandy beach.

Think of it as slate or terrace farms instead.

Lava cooling doesn't imply destruction or disaster to me. Look at Hawaii: volcanic activity created the chain of islands and the destructive effect of that activity has been minimal in comparison to the positive effect of land created.
