Notting Hill Condos had their ceremonial ground breaking event this past Sunday (Oct 24th, 2021):

After the "Ground Breaking" event, the construction has still not started yet. anybody knows when the project would start?

Not precisely.

The developer is still awaiting the permits.

I reviewed both the 'New Building' permits; and the partial permit for 'Shoring' (digging the hole) and while they are moving through the process, they are not yet 'issued'.

Typically, it would likely be in the next few weeks; but there are sites where the process takes much longer.

Thanks Northern Light.

I looked today, the status of the both building permit has been changed to
"Notice Sent" which means: "Review of the application has begun and the Examiner has identified deficiencies or outstanding items. A Notice has been sent to the Applicant and the Examiner is waiting for a response."

Phase1 was send on June, 2021 ans Phase 2 was sent on the beginning of the Feb, 2022. Hope the process would be speed up. It is been so long already.

Great news abou the new park in the area.
I saw a picture posts on Lanterra development's instgram saying the construction has started. Has anybody passed by recently? Has the construction really started? The sales office has been closed a couple weeks ago when I drove by.

The econimy is so unstable. Fingers cross for this project.

A garden or plant nursery would have been acceptable.
