Excellent shot. That brick building always catches great light refraction throughout the day.

^ ooo, and it looks like the exposed concrete are being prepared to be covered by glass panels, I was hopeing they didn't leave it exposed like it currently stands.

Does one of the setbacked floors seem taller than the lower floors?

This building is looking hot with its glass balconies. Me likeum. Can't wait to see the ground floor with it's intriguing bulge.

I was just thinking... given how concrete surfaces are covered with glass alot lately (SPIRE, The MET, Montage, Murano), imagine if an architect had the concrete under the balconies covered in glass!!! :O

Haha, they will sell well for the exhibitionists and peeping toms.

But I am intrigued by the idea, imagine having some sort of water feature on the balcony and having reflections like you are inside underwater tank.

The only example of a glass soffit I can think of in the city is at the National Ballet School. It's really subtle (one of them is actually hidden above strips of metal, so that it can't be seen), and it's more of a problem than it's worth because of the way that condensation builds inside the unit, precipates, and leaves water marks behind. The soffit needs to be taken apart periodically to be drained and cleaned.

Looking at that middle picture from casaguy, I'm getting really excited about the glass balconies on the side. I think they are going to look really attractive once they are all put in.

Curious to know what those small corner balconies will look like though when glass is placed on them (See the pic from College/Carlton). If these balconies are any indication, I think this is shaping up to be the first good looking glass condo in Toronto.
