Attention to the finishing details is what I feel a lot of our developers lack. It's like they're so close to getting things right, but then mar a project with a stupid, cheap finishing detail that disproportionately detracts from the final product. Things like the cheap flashing, Home Depot downspouts, 1970s brown spandrel and so forth... It's as if coming up with an okay design is good enough for us, and hey, no one's gonna really scrutinize the details so just finish it with whatever's lying around.

Even the crumbing brick and stonework of this building's neighbour oozes more quality and attention to detail than we're seeing here. Throughout the "evolution" of modern architecture, something was lost along the way.

Are the units only separated by metal studs and drywall?? If so this is probably going to be a little bit noisy of a building.

It's about as hip and ugly as the rest of WQW is these days--RIP WQW indeed.

Ossington is just turning into another Roncevalles....

5 years ago when this project launched, Queen & Ossington was still cool. Today's it's trashy. I would want to sell my unit asap and move up to a hipper 'hood like Bloor & Lansdowne or the Junction.

If you think Ossington is cool, you're probably 45+, live in Forest Hill/North Toronto and dine out all the time. Otherwise, it's become as dull as this grey eyesore

Every single art gallery is gone or going soon, even the original Candy Factory owners are abandoning ship

Condos just brought misery to this part of our Queen West--RIP WQW.

Bloor West is cool. From Bathurst to Lansdowne it's rocking with hip little cafes and bars. It reminds me of what WQW/Ossington used to be like c.1999-2008. It helps too that all the art galleries have moved west to St Helen's & Bloor area.

Ossington nimbies were right: be very afraid of tall objects that turn out to be eyesores.

Instead of that dreary grey some colour would've been nice, inspired by a Kim Dorland painting across the street (oh wait, that's gone now too!)

Angell gallery is moving up to that hipster Lansdowne corridor
