Love the old fire station in that last picture. I spent most of my childhood in this nbhd and that fire house will always be memorable to me. Used to watch fire trucks go in and out of there as a child, and the yellow police cars from the police station that used to be there.

A portion of Helendale on the south side of this project has been closed for a while now (maybe over a week?). At first I thought it was a staging area for a crane installation but now I'm not so sure. Anyone have any guesses?
