Expect the new parking structure to be open in either October or November to allow the demo of the current structure

Not all photos are on line and will be sometime before they are as I am working on Aug 27 ones now with a few 1,000's to go

I know it's not to be an architectural gem by any means, but that new parking garage looks extremely ghastly compared to the old one.

I dont know what they were trying to accomplish with those fins, but they dont do anything whatsoever.

Let's hope that once the LRT is up and running, many people will be using it to get to the hospital instead of their cars.
With the price they charge for parking, you could buy an LRT after parking in their garage. I made many walks from that old garage to the hospital over the years when my parents were in that hospital for various treatments and surgeries. Even though I live close to Credit Valley, I made sure my daughter was born at M-site to ensure my latest memory of that hospital was going to be a happy one.

The bright side is the new hospital building should hide it from Hurontario; and the eventual redevelopment of the existing hospital building should see it hidden from Queensway as well.

Wow that office tower's existence wasn't for very long, was it. What a waste of time, money, and materials. Couldn't they see a hospital redevelopment on the horizon before it was built?

I think it was put up sometime between 2004-2007 so maybe 17 to 20 years.
