Today: hoarding is up along Bloor St (not on Bathurst or Markham yet). A transparent material is being installed along the top (visible in the extreme right of the picture). Looks promising just based on the hoarding!

They've had nearly the whole sidewalk blocked the entire week (and part of last week IIRC) assembling that one block of hoarding.

What do you expect? It's a nice shiny surface - such temptation! Taggers gonna tag.

As for the transparent bits, they won't stay clean long, given the cycle of demolition and then construction.

"There's no place...
But Toronto is Bloor,
The sky is blue,
any place."

The Honest Ed's signs were tacky, but at least the mostly made sense? What's the deal with the floating words in that render?

I am still trying to figure out how can one shop for veggies in cases that are a metre overhead in the store next door.

Also, that massive Vox amp being walked into a multi-unit residential development? Not a good look. I have an amp maybe 1/3 that size, and can't turn the volume past 1 without angering the neighbours.
