Balcony glass looks cheap and the exhaust grills on the north elevation are placed without any consideration. Even horizontal bands of exhaust grilles would have worked better than this patchwork; continue the horizontal design language of the balconies by running them horizontally across each storey.

Cladding is adding to the exterior of MOD's Massey Tower, as the Hariri Pontarini-designed condominium tower rises above Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto

It's a little more difficult than that. The building sits closer to the property line than the minimum required 5.5m and therefore required sprinklering on the windows. Furthermore, because the windows are operable, the whole system required an ASP which was only approved this year. By that time, the placement of the vents had already been determined by other factors and MOD and HPA didn't have time to redesign the whole thing as the glass had already been shipped.
