Cladding has FINALLY started going up. Just happened to catch it thanks to a seminar at Sick Kids.

The panels almost look like they have a pink or purple tint to them. Was that how they looked in real or are we just seeing the surroundings reflected in them?

Maybe a bit of a purple hue but they looked pretty grey to me.
I walked by again today and they've actually finished the second level of cladding on this portion of the tower. If they go up to the next level that would mean the other, darker cladding would be installed (according to the render) which I'm anxious for. I'll do my best to keep a look out for it.

Taken today. The panels look like an off-white in the dark and an off-purple in the light. Kind of tricky on the eyes

I don't think I've ever noticed the new elevated portion behind the old section of the hospital (in the middle) from the street.

GReat to see that the new entrance is almost ready to open and looks pretty good BUT what's with the usual mess of newspaper vending boxes? Surelya good location for one of the new combined multi-boxes that are appearing, slowly, elsewhere.

should Queen's Park really be getting any improvements at all? they refuse to fund our transit system, and give all our money to expanding the highway system and promoting sprawl. If i were the TTC, Id run the trains straight through from St. Patrick to St. George, and let the Ontario Government workers complain to their bosses.

Anyways, there's some new cladding up.
Here's the south side that is mostly blocked by the cardiac centre. It's pretty much black.
And the new darker cladding of the protruding box, at the southwest corner. It's quite nice in person and super reflective when you're standing close to the building.
