In a city full of new point towers, it's all the more remarkable when a slab slips through. I like this material, but Market Wharf falls across the eastern skyline like a floodgate.

In a city full of new point towers, it's all the more remarkable when a slab slips through. I like this material, but Market Wharf falls across the eastern skyline like a floodgate.

Once Market Wharf's balconies are glazed and the undulations are emphasized, it should earn its place on the skyline.

Context had initially proposed a taller, smaller floorplate, point tower. It was community opposition to the height that moved the permitted gfa into larger floorplates and created the slab.
