I am not sure if someone answered this question or not, but will the current owners in the podium have to pay that "condo rent" until the tower is complete and 70% occupied in 1-2 years? If so, that really sucks.

They split the development into two phases. The first phase (North podium) will be able to close separate from the tower.

Indeed, the Phase 1 podium's address is "3 Market Street", while I believe the tower would be "1 Market Street".

Trees on the West side (Market Street) went in today...

They are currently pouring the 11th floor on the North end of the tower portion. You can also see the first exposed curved balcony which would be the 10th floor.

More brick going up and windows starting to be installed on South podium.

I wouldnt worry about it, it looks like they've planted dead trees to save time on the usual slow and painful process of neglect. those flower beds also look like they went to shit pretty quick, in the space of less than 2 weeks!
