It's shots like this that really show the scale of the span, wow... while not the Golden Gate, I have been incorrectly referring to this as "the little beauty". Not so little...

Good Monday morning...and what a glorious Monday it is. Perfect day for a bridge install. If you can perhaps get down to have a look at this, it would be fascinating to observe, However, the current Cherry St bridge closest viewing area may get a tad busy. Ellis Don workers said they expect a midday install. After rotating the bridge 90 degrees, they 'sink' the barge (just add water) and settle the bridge into place.
There's a buzz in the air....or there will be soon. The Ellis Don drone team with their unlocked DJI drones (including high-res MAVIC II) at the ready.

Approx time ? Just a block away and will keep an eye out from balcony to see when folks gather. Too bad on 11 floor and not higher the hydro wires are irritating.
