I say leave the Portlands alone, people want NFL stadiums, bike paths, Calatrava bridges, condos and more condos, LRTs, Monorails, etc. etc. etc....
for gods sake, this city with an area of 243.2 sq miles has a million and one other places to build this fancy schmancy stuff.
In 20 years. we can only wish we had kept this little so Portlands area intact,
Toronto has always been a Great Lakes Port City...whats wrong with keeping it old school.
