Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

I was expecting the crane to be left sticking out of the lobby/theartre portions below like a well lobbed kitchen knife. Instead, it appears a couple of shattered windows on top portion of tower with BMU in question still mainly intact. Good news, likely less expensive and difficult to fix and far less damage to peeps and property.

Thanks for the pictorial update @jameskoole. /bows

But a further blow to the reputation of the building!

Hey while on the topic of this tower that has never experienced a single problem in its life, heres some photos I took of the absolutely most perfect building in the city a couple months ago.

I'm sure it will. And in the spirit of why we can never has nice things, this is why Toronto gets stuck with conventional boxes. /sigh

Slightly unrelated but thanks to the mod who complied all my photos into a single post! :)

On the note of the building. Do we have any idea how extensive the setup will be for repairs?

Rest assured that if any of us know it will be posted here. I doubt the Condo Corporation (the owners) and the 'crane contractors' have worked out yet what to do and how to do it. Lots of insurance issues will need to be resolved too.

Wicked shot! I agree, that intense light must have an adverse effect on those units but it makes for pretty night shots!

I will look even better once the windows get washed, I don't think they've ever been cleaned since the building went up 7ish years ago.
