Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

That Istanbul tower also bears some resemblance to the International Commerce Centre, currently U/C in Hong Kong (designed by KPF) ...

^Also a beautiful tower like our L.

I wonder if it's just the low resolution starter kit version of a rendering program that was used to market the Istanbul tower that is not doing it justice.

Kinda', sorta' related. At least it indicates things are happening. I'll be there to push and step over the mobs to get the "World's Biggest Xmas stocking"...

This sounds like the most downtown fun since they sold off the furniture from the Lord Simcoe Hotel, prior to demolition in the early '80s.

Come hell or high water, I'm getting that eight foot gurney.

Oh wow, this could be perfect. I need some more furniture for my house. Things may get messy though, I plan on bringing my "crowd control" bat in case anyone gets in my way.

I've got an M26 taser, so just stay clear of the damned Xmas Stocking!

I'll Rock, Paper, Scissors you for it....

"PAPER!"

I just scanned through the document quickly, so maybe I missed something? If the zoning ammendament was passed why would it need to be appealed?

yes it got endorsed by Council in principal back in May 2008, then final approval By-law went through on July 17, 2008 ... now it is subject to a 20-days appeal period which may be intiated by anyone ... after the appeal period then the BL becomes final and binding (in force and effect)
